At the restored warehouse building, which dates back to 1900s, Smart Hospitality will be tasked with catering for a wide portfolio of events. Victoria Warehouse, which can host between 300 and 7,000 people, has hosted music festivals, club nights, fashion shows, awards ceremonies, conferences and corporate events.
James Cohen, director of Victoria Warehouse, said: "Victoria Warehouse is a Manchester institution that revolves around reinvention and creative thinking. As a result, we are always on the lookout for ways to improve the space in a manner that gives it the future potential it deserves.
"Smart has many creative synergies with our company, and by bringing them on board we are able to underpin and improve our venue services, and provide high-quality food to complement the incredible events that take place here. It will provide catering and venue management services into the partnership. This will allow Victoria Warehouse to continue its rapid evolution into one of the most iconic and versatile event spaces, while ensuring that all the events are delivered to the highest standard."
Stefan Maciejewski, managing director for Smart Manchester, , added: "We love thinking outside the box, so we are excited to have the opportunity to produce food for such an unusual and quirky venue. We are looking forward to using our years of catering expertise to showcase the energy of the spectacular venue through our food, whilst building on the quality and creativity synonymous with the venue by fully integrating it at the catering level for all."
