V Water to launch experiential campaign offering free drinks

LONDON - V Water is to launch a London-based experiential campaign featuring the strapline 'There is something in the water', encouraging workers to send colleagues and friends a free case of water as part of an online summer ad push.

The brand is offering consumers a choice of four types of its flavoured water brand, which can be sent to friends in London via the V Water for free, as part of a 20:20 London created experiential campaign.

The campaign, called "Friend's Day", allows consumers to choose from V Water's lemon and lime, green tea, pomegranate or ginger and mango flavoured waters to help boost the recipient's morale and vitality.

V Water said the four choices would enable the drinker to de-stress, kick-start their day, boost their immune system or use it as a cleansing treatment.

Among the activities taking place include a viral video, , street-based sampling involving a giant fridge on wheels, and other online marketing.

The brand said that although the initial campaign was limited to London, it had not ruled out the possibility of extending the campaign in the future.

Walter Faulstroh, co-founder of V Water, said: "With a six-figure budget, 20:20 was able to come up with ideas that simply run on their own, whether it's online, in print or through sampling."

The brand, which markets itself as having nutritional, herbal, vitamin and mineral properties, retails in Waitrose, Harvey Nichols, EAT, Wholefoods and Boots.
