Iris has revealed further changes to its UK and international management teams. Among the changes, Steve Bell, the UK chief executive, will step down from the role to take on an as-yet-unspecified post. McDonald's has U-turned on its decision to appoint former UK chief executive Steve Easterbrook to the job of global chief branding officer. Easterbrook will now move to the role of president of McDonald’s Europe, replacing Dennis Hennequin who is leaving the business. ()
Samsung has appointed former Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser marketer Batyr Bulat as marketing director, and Keith O'Brien as head of content, at its mobile division. The company said the two appointments would help push Samsung's mobile division to be "the leading content and service provider in the UK mobile industry". ()
