LONDON - The high-profile departure of NatMag MD Jessica Burley leads the headlines as Brand Republic rounds up the week's industry moves in advertising, digital, marketing and media.

Digital

The Internet Advertising Bureau has appointed as its new head of research, replacing Nicki Lynas who left in October. Elkington will be responsible for leading the IAB's research initiatives, including the biannual online advertising expenditure study. ()

Marketing

My-wardrobe.com, the online retailer of "accessible luxury" womenswear and menswear designer fashion, has appointment , as marketing director. Metcalfe joins my-wardrobe.com from pioneering discount e-tailer Koodos, where she held the position of marketing and communications director. ()

Media

NatMag, the publisher of Cosmopolitan magazine, is to part company with its managing director who is leaving the company after eight years. Burley is well regarded in the publishing industry but missed out on the chief executive's roles, vacated by Duncan Edwards, at the start of the year. ()

l, deputy chairman of ITV, is to step down at the end of the year as the broadcaster prepares for a change in leadership, with executive chairman Sir Michael Grade making way for former Asda boss Archie Norman. ()

, chairman and managing director of Haymarket Business Media, is stepping down after almost 20 years with the company. The end of Durhams' contract has been brought forward to coincide with other management changes, due to take place in January next year. ()

, News Corporation's executive vice-president for content, is to retire at the end of the year after 20 years with the company. Disney joined News Corp in 1989 after a career that included working in London as a newspaper reporter and later, in New York, where she became a magazine editor and TV producer. ()

Virgin Media has named its strategy supremo as chief operating officer. Barron joined Virgin Media in March 2008 and since then has led the company's strategy development and, more recently, overseen a reorganisation of the company's customer operations and network teams. ()

Wedding TV has appointed , a senior commercial executive at Sky Media, as advertising sales manager. He will take on the new of role for Wedding TV and sister channel Wedding TV Asia and will report to Nick Tiday, head of media sales at Wedding TV. ()

Lonely Planet has named as managing director for its EMEA region. Schatz joins from specialist travel books retailer Stanfords, where he was managing director. ()

Bauer Media is parting company with its agency development director . Chadwick, who is leaving this week, will not be replaced. ()
