Best Parties Ever said it believed it was the first time the space has been dry hired for an event at the venue.
The company has planned two themed venues for June and July, dubbed 'summer terraces'. The level 16 sunset terrace has been designed with the Ibiza club land in mind, featuring white, sleek interiors and chilled-out music. For event bookers looking for a more traditional venue, the English secret garden terrace will recreate the classic country garden party.
Both areas can accommodate 450 guests, with the possibility of combining the two for larger events. The venues, which provide views overlooking Canary Wharf, will be catered for by Tapenade.
Tim Stevens, managing director of Best Parties Ever, said: "The views from the top of the dock are incredible and were inspirational for our whole team. The event designers, chefs and mixologists are so excited, they’ve created some fantastic environments, menus and cocktails."
He added the company is expecting a huge demand for summer parties, screenings of World Cup games, Wimbledon and other sporting events.
Jonathan Read, commercial director at Tobacco Dock, said: "We are delighted to be launching the roof terraces for corporate summer parties and partnering with Best Parties Ever and its sister company Tapenade.
"They are the perfect places to watch the sunset over the city with a well-crafted cocktail in hand and great food on the grill, while listening to some laidback tracks from a top DJ."
