More Th>n hunts sole direct shop for £10m account

LONDON - More Th>n is to consolidate its 拢10m direct marketing business into a single agency. The work covers the firm's entire product range, including motor, home, pet, travel and life insurance, as well as its credit cards.

Stephens Francis Whitson, Toast, Barraclough Edwards Chamberlain, Craik Jones Watson Mitchell Voelkel and Tullo Marshall Warren have been invited to pitch for the business.

More Th>n has worked with a number of direct marketing agencies in the past, but its only retained agency is WWAV Rapp Collins.

The company's head of marketing communications, Neil Scaife, who called the pitch, said the insurer was looking for "a fresh approach".

Scaife joined the company from Publicis four months ago, where he was director of strategic planning, working with UBS and Fidelity.

WWAV is not repitching for the business.
