Tequila\London loses The One Account brief

LONDON - The One Account has parted company with its direct agency, Tequila\London.

The company, owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland, is expected to shift the business to Hall Moore CHI.

Hall Moore's above-the-line affiliate Clemmow Hornby Inge currently dominates the RBS roster -- not only does it handle The One Account, Direct Line and Mint credit cards, but this week it was also handed briefs for Lombard Direct and Churchill. M&C Saatchi, meanwhile, handles RBS's NatWest and Privilege brands.

Tequila\London refused to confirm or deny the story.

The Omnicom agency, which was formed in January out of a merger between the existing London office of Tequila and TBWA\GGT, will take some consolation from its recent capture of the £20m Morgan Stanley credit card account.
