A 56-year-old woman and 55-year-old man from Essex were picked up by police over the weekend in Hertfordshire after it was brought to police attention that suspicious "Posh and Becks" memorabilia was being sold on EBay.
Victoria Beckham's father Tony first alerted police after noticing some items being sold online were identical to the items that should have been in his daughter's mansion.
Some of the items included a Beckham football shoe, with the names of the couple's three sons written on it and another shoe he wore while playing for England. Most of the items were small, valuable trinkets the couple had amassed during their travels.
EBay is currently launching an investigation into the fraud scheme.
