The event, 'An intimate audience with Kasabian', will take place on 9 September at Mode in Notting Hill, with 500 people in attendance and with all proceeds going to Shelter.
The gig follows on from Kasabian's European and Australian tour, and a summer that has seen the band headline Glastonbury and a festival in their hometown of Leicester. The band is expected to play material from new album 48:14 as well as previous hits.
Tracy Griffin, Shelter’s director of fundraising, said: "With more and more people having to stretch their finances to breaking point in a bid to make ends meet, it’s not hard to see why so many families across the country are facing the nightmare of losing their home. But as more people come to us desperate for support, sadly our helpline is also being stretched to its limits.
"Our advisers can be the difference between a family keeping their home or losing it. This Kasabian gig will raise much needed funds so we can help more families when the worst happens."
Sergio Pizzorno from Kasabian, added: "Everyone needs a place to call home. It keeps you grounded, and helps give you strength to push forward. What Shelter do is amazing, and we want to back that."
The show will also be broadcast on Absolute Radio from 10pm on 29 September.
