The event, which will take place on Friday (29 August), is part of the charity’s Centrepoint Sessions series. Only 100 tickets will be released for the show at £100 per person, with all proceeds donated to Centrepoint.
Hosted at the Hippodrome Theatre in the West End of London and organised in-house, the performance will also include a champagne reception and canapés.
Mvula’s hour-long performance will feature tracks from her debut album, Sing to the Moon. She said: "I'm really glad that we're able to support Centrepoint by doing a show. It's such a great organisation and being able to use music to help get young homeless people off the streets is a huge privilege. Hopefully we raise lots of money."
Jonathan Ward, celebrity and major donor manager at Centrepoint, added: "We are delighted that Laura has taken time out of her busy schedule to raise much needed funds for our work with homeless young people, and at the same time give her fans a unique opportunity to see her perform in such intimate surroundings."
The Centrepoint Sessions previously presented an exclusive performance from jazz artiste Jamie Cullen at Yamaha Music London’s piano hall in December 2013.
