The Search Works lands Moneysupermarket contract

LONDON - Moneysupermarket.com, the price comparison site, has chosen The Search Works as its search marketing agency, in an attempt to bolster its presence in search engine rankings.

The Search Works will also help elevate the profile of sister brand travelsupermarket.com, and will manage a search engine optimisation campaign for both sites.

Alan Harding, search engine marketing manager at moneysupermarket.com, said: "The Search Works has retail, finance and travel expertise that is an invaluable extension of our in-house search marketing team.

"The company has already improved our campaign planning and forecasting for travelsupermarket.com and continues to help boost our search marketing efficiency and ROI."

The Search Works won the contract following a pitch earlier this month. The company had already established links with Moneysupermarket.com, which has used its search automation software since 2005.

Jessica Khazaei, sales and marketing director at The Search Works, said: "Our retail, finance and travel experience has given us insight into seasonal industry demands and the unique behavioural patterns of online consumers in these verticals."
