On Sunday 21 March 2010 Hula Hoops set a new world record for the most people simultaneously Hula Hooping at different locations.

The attempt took place at each of the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Flagship Mile events in 16 locations around the UK.

Hula Hoops, an official partner of Sport Relief 2010, donated £1 for every donation of £1 or more, made via text or online, using the specially branded packs of Hula Hoops.

TV personality Ben Fogle and professional hula hooper Marawa from La Clique demonstrated their hooping skills in Leicester Square, London on Friday 29 January.

"Hula Hoops is a fun and playful brand, and so we wanted to create and execute a memorable experience that would reflect this personality, whilst involving and educating customers about Sport Relief 2010," said RPM managing director Dom Robertson.
