Red Snapper leaves debts of £700,000

Red Snapper Events racked up debts of more than £700,000 before entering voluntary liquidation this July, Event can reveal.

Event has gained access to the list of creditors left out of pocket from the collapse of the catering and management firm, headed up managing director Damian Clarkson.

Among those listed are catering and equipment hire firm Jones, which is owed more than £100,000; staffing agency Off To Work, owed just less than £21,000; and PR company Triggerfish Communications, which has been left almost £7,000 short.

Airstream Events, Chapman Taylor Catering Equipment Hire and Esprit People are also owed a combined deficit of almost £29,000.

Administrator Middleton Partners has confirmed several companies have made bids for the firm's assets, which include furniture, equipment and machinery. However, these are "subject to ongoing negotiation".

Clarkson was unavailable for comment.

by setting up a new agency under the name of Red Snapper Projects.
