Between them they have more than 30 years of marketing experience, having previously worked for nearly a decade at McCann Erickson and CDP where they created pan-European campaigns and events. At Pulse Group, Thorne and Turner will oversee all creative output for clients including Emirates, Renault and Morrisons.
Thorne said the duo's move to a smaller agency meant a greater focus on campaigns: "It allows us to be fully involved at every level, not just guiding the creative direction of the agency but to stay involved from initial conception through to completion."
He added: "It also gives us the opportunity to challenge ourselves with innovative campaign ideas and to be as creative as possible – in pretty much any medium. And right now the potential, and the need, to put great ideas anywhere and everywhere has never been greater, and at Pulse we now have all the tools to make that happen."
