Pallett joins from the Central Office of Information (COI), where he was deputy director of direct and relationship marketing, responsible for strategic direction.

At Pulse Group, Pallett will lead the planning and strategic division for clients including Emirates, Renault, Morrisons and Blossom Hill.

Mike Spicer, chief executive of Pulse Group, said Pallett was a "strong addition" to the senior team. He said: "[Pallett’s] appointment fits with our wider restructure and plans for growth, and will add to our existing expertise".

The news comes after Pulse Group appointed Magnus Thorne and Paul Turner as executive creative directors, poaching the pair from agency Rapp London. Pulse Group says the hires are part of a wider management restructure to "serve a growing client base".

The agency’s event activity includes ‘Summerfest’ for Pimm’s, where a themed bus offered glasses of Pimm’s, prize draws and interactive games at locations like Latitude festival.
