Age 29

Brown has lived and breathed the John Lewis brand since joining as a graduate in 2004. She began her career as a direct marketing and campaign manager before becoming online planning manager for the John Lewis website.

In 2008 she was appointed communications planning manager; a secondment to product development followed before she returned to marketing to oversee the retailer’s social media strategy. At the end of 2010 she took on the new role of head of marketing for home and electricals.

Biggest challenge ‘The growth of ecommerce is the biggest shift for us. The number of products we sell online is key to our growth.’
