The Bus Jam shows, which were organised by TfL's in-house events team, took place on Sunday (18 May) and featured exclusive performances on board the vehicle from the likes of Birmingham singer-songwriter Laura Mvula and soul singer Omar.
Guests, who were competition winners, were able to watch the intimate shows on board one of London’s new generation of Routemaster-inspired buses, as it travelled to three different locations in the capital including Shoreditch, central London and Camden.
The gigs formed part of the celebrations for Year of the Bus, a series of events, exhibitions and activities to reconnect Londoners with the bus network.
This will include Bus Cavalcade in London's Regent Street on 22 June. Around 30 buses, spanning the last century, from horse buses through to the new Routemaster, will be on display and visitors will be able to explore the buses and take part in family activities.
The Bus Jam event also helped to raise awareness about Oxjam – a month-long music festival raising money for charity Oxfam.
