Guests were greeted with canapés and a drinks reception on a mezzanine area, which overlooks the venue’s piazza and the Blue Peter Gardens, forming part of the BBC film studios.
Paul Newman, director of communication for the Peel Group, gave a welcome speech before attendees were given the opportunity to explore the venue before heading outside to a specially-reserved space to watch , which was filmed live on the piazza for Channel 4.
Claire Leonard, venue relationship manager for Kudos, said: "The Kudos team are really excited by the opportunities that this event space will bring. It’s flexible and very dynamic.
"Guests can create an intimate environment and then break-out of the space to interact with the surroundings. We have already had fabulous feedback from our guests about the space and event."
