The audience winners were a capella singing group The Penny Arcade Quartet, while the judges vote went to folk musicians The Salts. Both acts will perform at the semi-final at International Confex on 19-21 March.

The judges were Sternberg Clarke founder Adam Sternberg; Jo Plinston, events manager at Haymarket; and Andrew Birnie, events director at Café de Paris.

The standard was extremely high this year, and all acts received positive feedback.
