The exhibition runs alongside International Confex on 19 – 21 March at Excel.

The Live Lounge will be a technology hub with demonstrations of the trends set to impact the industry in 2013. It will host the final of industry talent competition The Next Big Thing.

The Status Update theatre will explore the latest innovations and trends, while the Brand Activation Bubble, organised alongside Event, will cover all things experiential. Speakers include Liz Richardson, director at Closer, and William Bicknell, head of ideas at Chillisauce.

The Live Experience Theatre will offer a programme covering the worlds of music, sport, charity and experiential events. Denzil Thomas, business director at Billington Cartmell Music, will be a headline speaker, talking about RFID and how it can enhance the festivalgoer experience.

James Samuel, event director at UBM Live, said: "We are delighted with the continual growth of Live Experience and believe that these improvements will help provide the best show for the industry. The UK’s events sector has seen tremendous success over the past year and by bringing together the best minds onto the biggest and brightest platforms, we can ensure that the sector is given the first-class show it deserves."
