Pixie Lott, Katy B, Olly Murs, Sean Paul and Rizzle Kicks performed to a crowd of 16,000 to mark 100 years since the Titanic sunk on its maiden voyage in 1912.
MTV said the free concert was staged specifically for Belfast residents who weren’t able to experience the city’s recent MTV EMA Awards in Novemeber. The awards featured artists such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber and brought an estimated £10 million economic boost to the Belfast.
The MTV gig was the headline event in the Titanic Festival, a three-week series of events to commemorate the sinking of the liner which was built in Belfast.
Events that have already happened include a to open the £97 million Titanic Belfast venue on 7 April and which broadcast a live music and documentary event from Belfast's Waterfront Hall on BBC Two on Saturday (14 April).
