
The Titanic Sounds gig on 13 April will feature music performances against the backdrop of the new Titanic Belfast tourist attraction. An MTV spokesman said details of performers would be revealed in the coming weeks.

The MTV gig is the headline event in the Titanic Festival, a three-week series of 120 events to commemorate the sinking of the liner, which was built in Belfast. The event programme will include the biggest ever digital projection lighting show, according to organisers.
Niall O Donnghaile, lord mayor of Belfast, said the festival would attract visitors from all over the world. "This is such an exciting time for our city and this festival reflects the incredible interest in Titanic," he said.
