What’s it got? The new six-floor visitor attraction opens on 31 March and tells the story of the Titanic. The top two floors are reserved for events and house a series of function rooms based on the designs of the Titanic’s interiors. The largest, the Titanic Suite features a replica of the liner’s grand staircase and can hold up to 825 guests for a reception. The adjoining Olympic and Britannic Suites can be used independently, holding a maximum of 270 and 210 guests respectively, or combined for up to almost 500.
Anything else? The shape of the building resembles the hulls of four ships and from above creates the shape of a star, the symbol of the Titanic’s operators.
