Peugeot hands web magazine duties to MRM

LONDON - Peugeot has awarded the internet side of its customer magazine Rapport to MRM Worldwide after a three-way pitch among its roster agencies.

The Instant Rapport and associated email communications were previously handled by Specialist, the Bristol-based customer publishing agency, which continues to handle the print magazine, Rapport.

Peugeot would not disclose the agencies pitching against MRM, but said the agency demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the automotive sector.

The new strategy for the site will include a revamp in March, including subscription email newsletters aimed at achieving higher email open rates and more telephone enquiries.

Alastair Duncan, managing director of MRM Worldwide, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded the Instant Rapport brief, which forms part of Peugeot's online eCRM strategy, and feel sure that our combined strengths will provide customers with a much better service."
