The free download, produced in association with the Guardian Guide, gives Glastonbury-goers stage times for the full festival line-up and the ability to personalise their own artist schedule for the whole weekend. Mobile users can also access an interactive map of the site, as well as essential festival news, advice and alerts.
Orange has also forged a partnership with Bauer that will see everyone who downloads GlastoNav become eligible to receive 50 per cent off an annual subscription to Q Magazine.
This year the mobile network operator is giving Glastonbury revellers the chance to win exclusive access to the Pyramid Stage. At 12pm every day a ‘bull' icon will appear on the GlastoNav map showing where festival goers need to go to find a life-size bull on site. Once at the secret location, music fans are encouraged to click the icon on the map and enter a code word written on the bull to be in with a chance of winning VIP access for one of the featured performances.
"Orange GlastoNav is the best way to plan the perfect Glastonbury weekend," says Spencer McHugh, brand director, Orange UK. "Sharing your schedule with friends means you will never miss meeting up for your favourite bands."
Glastonbury takes place between 24th and 18th June, with a line up including Blur, Franz Ferdinand and Status Quo.
