The event, which takes place from 2 to 18 October, will hold the London Restaurant festival Market at the venue as well as the London Restaurant Festival Awards.
The London Restaurant Festival Market will run for six days (from 11 to 13 October and 15 to 17 October) and will "showcase the diversity of cuisines available in the capital as well as the wonderful produce its restaurants rely on".
The awards will take place on the evening of 18 October to bring a close to the event.
"The second London Restaurant Festival already looks set to outstrip last year’s inaugural event in terms of incredible food, star names and wonderful venues - we’re thrilled that Old Spitalfields Market is going to be right at the heart of proceedings," said festival director Simon Davis.
