Spice Girl Mel B launches Fitness First’s International Fitness Week at the market today (8 March) alongside its UK national fitness director Derek Crawford.
Next week (from 15-18 March) Man Booker prize-shortlisted novelist David Mitchell will showcase his latest offering, The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet, in a Japanese teahouse-style Reading Room that will be built inside the Victorian market hall.
On 17 March, the Pearly King of Peckham George Major will launch his latest book, The Pearly Gates, with a star-studded PR event followed by a party for local sick children.
The news follows the announcement the event space has teamed up with organisers of London Jewellery Week to launch JewelEast, a series of events showcasing exciting new jewellery designers.
The events will take place four times a year, with a week-long celebration during June’s London Jewellery week, which will include workshops, demonstrations and a catwalk event.
"Last year, we played host to the Japanese Matsuri Cultural Festival, Thomson Reuters EIKON Launch, The London Restaurant Festival's Award Ceremony and Origin: The London Craft Fair – to name a few," said OSM events manager Ellie Barnatt.
"This year, we will continue to be the venue of choice - not only with repeat bookings - but with the recently-secured contracts, there will be some fantastic new events that will really put OSM at the heart of London's events scene."
