The mailing, developed by start up agency WDMP, offers potential customers 30 digital channels until Christmas 2004, including access to its movies on demand service, when they sign up for a Talk 24 unlimited phone package.
Chris Collinson, NTL's head of marketing, said: "Christmas is prime TV watching time either with the family or to get away from them, so it’s a perfect opportunity for us to offer free digital TV. The inclusion of movies-on-demand makes the offer even more attractive as customers can access the latest releases rather than the usual re-runs on terrestrial."
WDMP currently works on acquisition and retention strategy and campaigns for the cable operator's residential offering ntl:home.
The agency was founded late last year and creates direct response campaigns for amazon.co.uk, British Gas, Carphone Warehouse, Johnson & Johnson MSD Consumer Pharmaceuticals, Kia cars and Norwich & Peterborough Building Society.
