Neolane gets £3m investment from French equity firm Xange

LONDON - Neolane, the customer marketing and communications firm, is to receive 拢3.2m worth of backing from French private equity company Xange, which will be used for development in the US market.

Neolane, which was founded in 2001, specialises in marketing campaign management and multi-channel communications, and said it has sustained 100% revenue growth for four consecutive years, creating a net profitability of over 15%.

The company will continue to be backed by original investors Auriga Partners, and has been concentrating its growth in the UK, Benelux and Norwegian markets since 2005.

Xange's investment in Neolane, which has a client base that includes EMI Music, Packard Bell, Virgin Megastores and Voyages SNCF, will be used for product development in the US market.

Stephane Dehoche, chief executive officer at Neolane, said: "[The finance] will support our plans for expansion, in particular our entry into the US -- the world's largest market for enterprise software. "

Herve Schricke, chairman of Xange Private Equity, added: "We were particularly impressed by the level of engagement and the quality of vision of the team at Neolane."

Neolane's primary investors, Auriga Partners, came on board in 2001, and it is understood that law firm Salans will be handling legal advice and assistance for Neolane, Auriga Partners and Xange.
