Experian launches real-time data marketing package

LONDON - Experian has launched a real-time online data marketing package called Canvasse Real-Time, which it said would allow users to find out what consumers were likely to buy online in the near future.

The company said Canvasse Real-Time works by sending targeted emails based on up-to-the-minute online lead-to-purchase data captured on Experian's Just Rewards .

The package has been developed by Experian to allow users to: quickly and accurately capture permission-based lead-to-purchase data; automatically analyse leads matching a client's market criteria; and instantly send emails based on responses from Canvasse Real-Time data.

Peter Thompson, commercial director for Experian's marketing solutions division, said: "Our new service means that companies can now capitalise on real-time information from consumers about what they are interested in purchasing in the next few days.

"Add to this, Experian's proven marketing data analytics and insight and we are confident that Canvasse Real-Time will raise the bar for prospect targeting in the UK."

Experian said the package could also be used for direct mail and telemarketing campaigns by sending secure emails containing data files to clients at regular intervals throughout the day.
