Bender was CEO of The Marketing Store's sister company, Havi Global Solutions, which operates in logistics, distribution, equipment leasing and maintenance, food processing, administrative services, packaging and promotional marketing.
Bender joined Havi in 1992 and was appointed chief executive in 2005.
The agency has also promoted John Hilbrich to global president of agency services. Hilbrich joined in 2001 and has headed agency services in Canada, handling CRM for Nissan.
