MTV to launch VIVA to replace TMF

LONDON - MTV Networks is launching a new channel to replace the current TMF channel available on freeview as well as pay-TV subscribers.

VIVA will launch on 26 October and is supported by a  seven figure TV marketing campaign.

The new channel will offer a wider scope of content including comedy as well as music. It will be available on Freeview channel 21, Sky 358 and Virgin Media 313.

The TV ad campaign will be supported by 48 sheet outdoor activity to run from Monday. On-air promos will air across the MTV network from tomorrow.

The campaign was created and produced by Quiet Storm, and focuses on the phrase ‘Up Your Viva!' with characters challenging each other to ‘Up...' theirs. Media was been planned by Equinox.
