Motorola awards £200m account to Ogilvy

LONDON - Motorola has consolidated its £200m advertising account for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) into Ogilvy following a six-month review of its agency arrangements, Marketing can exclusively reveal.

The world's second largest handset manufacturer has handed Ogilvy a full 360-degree brief encompassing advertising, direct marketing and digital.

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO resigned the pan-European portion of the business in October, but the consolidation brings an end to Motorola's relationship with 180 Amsterdam and TBWA in the Middle East, as well as Draftfcb, Profero and RMG Connect.
