LONDON - Global Radio has signed a seven-figure sponsorship deal with Microsoft Windows's 7 to sponsor Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball, one the UK's biggest indoor music events to be held at the O2 on 5 December.
The deal was brokered by UM London. An extensive campaign of activity is planned to support the event running across Global's Capital FM and Heart networks as well as other media.
The first five acts to be announced are Lady Gaga, JLS, Tinchy Stryder, Lily Allen & Noisettes. As the headline partner of the Jingle Bell Ball, Microsoft will use the publicity in the build-up to the event to raise awareness of its new operating software Windows 7, which launches on the 22 October.
