Match.com promotes Stockwood to international MD

LONDON - Online dating website Match.com has promoted Jason Stockwood to international managing director with immediate effect.

Stockwood, who will remain in his position as managing director of Match.com's UK operation, will now also be responsible for consolidating the European business and developing new opportunities for the business globally.

He joined Match.com in April last year from online travel brand Travelocity, where he was managing director of Travelocity Business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

He came to Travelocity after it acquired Lastminute.com, where he held a number of roles including global head of flights, helping build a network of regional offices across the continent.
