New campaign: Match.com

Match.com, the online dating site, is launching a TV ad campaign to attract more members.

Ads will launch on New Year's Eve across ITV, Channel 4, Five, GMTV and several satellite channels. They will introduce 'Cupid' and 'Fate', a hapless duo who shirk their responsibilities in favour of time-wasting pursuits such as magazine quizzes, doing their hair and riding a tandem bike. The drive aims to remind singles that relying on Cupid and Fate is not the best way to discover romance, with the tagline 'Don't wait for Cupid & Fate. Find love for yourself at Match.com'. TV activity will be supported by radio, outdoor and online ads running until February. These will be followed by further tranches of work later in the year.
