Marston's Pedigree launches St George's Day viral

LONDON - Marston's Pedigree, the official beer of the English cricket team, has held a St George's Day concert in its brewery to inspire the brewing process ahead of the Ashes.

To produce the ‘Ale Fit for England', last weekend it allowed the London Philharmonic Orchestra and opera outfit Elysium to play a concert in its brewery in a bid to instil ‘patriotic passion'.

Marston's head brewer Emma Gilleland said: ‘This is for our boys this summer. Cask beer is the British national drink. It's part of our nation's DNA.  We wanted to make sure everyone who watches the Ashes can literally taste the passion - on field and off.'

England's cricket-supporters, the Barmy Army, joined Marston's at the unprecedented event

Clips from the event will be released today on www.marstonsdontcompromise.co.uk as well as You Tube, Twitter and a Facebook page named ‘Marston's Land of Hops and Glory'.
