Marie Claire fashion chief joins Wallpaper

LONDON - Jeremy Langmead has completed his overhaul of the senior editorial line-up of style bible Wallpaper with the appointment of Marie Claire's Marcus Von Ackermann as editorial director.

Von Ackermann was fashion director at Wallpaper stablemate Marie Claire. Before joining Marie Claire, von Ackermann was style director at Conde Nast Traveller and he has also worked on French Vogue and British Elle as fashion director.

Langmead, who is Wallpaper's editor-in-chief, said von Ackermann's appointment "completes an incredibly strong senior line-up" at the magazine, which the company calls its "global lifestyle and design title".

Earlier this week, Langmead appointed Richard Cook and Robert Johnston as executive editors. He has also hired Emma Moore as beauty and grooming editor, Suzanne Trocme as architecture and design editor, and Tony Chambers as creative director of Wallpaper.
