Liverpool FC sign up Manchester-based agency for membership push

LONDON - Premier League football clubs Liverpool and Manchester United maybe bitter rivals but that hasn't stopped Liverpool appointing integrated agency Iris' Manchester-based office to relaunch its official membership scheme All Red.

Iris will create an integrated campaign which will be rolled out to coincide with the 50th anniversary season of legendary manager, Bill Shankly, who joined the club in 1959.

The activity will have a UK focus initially, but will be rolled out to other countries as part of an effort to create the world's biggest football club membership scheme.

The creative will feature imagery and quotes from Shankly across banner ads and a new membership landing page for the website.

There will also be collaborations with a selection of Liverpool's sponsorship partners and a direct mail campaign.
