JJB Sports appoints Zendor for complete online shopping task

LONDON - Sports retailer JJB Sports has appointed Manchester-based Zendor to launch and provide end-to-end fulfilment for its new online shopping website, including call centre and data management.

Zendor will provide a fully integrated end-to-end service for the , which has recently been launched as a development of the existing informational site. 

The distance-selling specialist was appointed by JJB Sports to launch the new service after an initial project where Zendor helped JJB define and develop its e-commerce strategy.

Winston Higham, marketing director of JJB Sports, said: "JJB Sports has considered trading its products on the internet for some time. The success of this market over the last 12 months encouraged us to seek advice and assistance from Zendor, whose reputation in the multichannel retail industry speaks for itself, and who will play an important role in working with us to successfully launch our website in the UK."

Zendor is providing JJB Sports with order and payment processing, fraud management, call centre services, warehousing and fulfilment, delivery, returns and customer data management.

The website will sell a wide range of sports equipment and clothing, from major sports brands to products exclusive to JJB Sports.

The latest win adds to a long list of clients Zendor already provides distance selling services to, including Woolworths, River Island, Early Learning Centre, and Sony Computer Entertainment UK.
