Weigh becomes head of Zendor's recently launched Channel Development service after four years as business development manager for the company.
The service helps home shopping businesses identify suitable channels through which to market and sell products. It includes a review that identifies potential pitfalls of moving into e-commerce.
The new role will see Weigh expand his focus to the implementation of multichannel strategies and planning, providing customer analysis, and advising on direct marketing opportunities across channels.
He will also oversee relationships with all Zendor call centre suppliers, the day-to-day operational management of call centre activity on behalf of Zendor clients, and the identification and sourcing of new suppliers.
Weigh said: "As call centre manager I will also be able to help retailers drive their business forward, since call centres are integral to multichannel companies."
With a career path leading from GE Capital, Great Universal Stores and JD Williams to Zendor, Weigh has a decade of experience in direct mail order marketing.
