The first part of BBC Two's 'South Pacific' documentary series, featuring a slow-motion shot of the back of a big wave from underwater, won 2.3m viewers and a 9% share of the audience.
On Saturday night 'Britain's Got Talent' improved on last week's ratings of 10.5m. It was up to 11.1m viewers, giving it a 48.2% share of the audience.

The hospital drama brought in 5.3m viewers, a 23.8% share, to the 4.3m (19.8%) that ITV1 got for 'ITV's Best Ever Ads' at 9.15pm-10.15pm.
As usual on a Saturday night there was little competition from the other terrestrial channels. BBC Two's 2.6m audience for a 'Dad's Army' repeat was the biggest among them, giving the channel a 13.2% share at 7.30pm-8pm.
