In her new role, Lin will remain based in Shanghai and will be part of a core team responsible for crafting the business strategies for Isobar globally.
Additionally, she will continue to coach the wwwins Greater China senior management, and work closely with KF Lee, chief executive of Aegis Media Greater China, to foster the development of digital services for the Isobar and Aegis Media operations in the region.
Lin founded wwwins, Isobar's digital agency, in Asia back in 1999. The agency has grown from a start up in Taipei, into one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the region with nearly 300 employees and offices in Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei.
Its clients include Coca-Cola, HSBC, P&G, Adidas, Peninsula Hotel and Nissan.
Lin will report to Nigel Morris, chief executive of Isobar Global who is based in London.

Deirdre McGlashan is succeeding Lin as chief executive of wwwins Consulting Greater China. She rejoined Isobar in January having resigned from her position as the head of global client management at Isobar, to become the fourth partner of Bill Brock and Matt Dyke's AnalogFolk start-up agency.
Prior to that, McGlashan worked for interactive agencies such as Agency.com in San Francisco and London, Red Sky Interactive in San Francisco and also client side for companies such as Apple and Macromedia in the Silicon Valley.
