JDA appoints interactive communications director

LONDON - Leeds-based direct agency JDA has recruited Lyz Cordon as interactive communications director.

Cordon joins the agency's digital division, , with 10 years' interactive experience. Latterly, she ran her own Leeds-based consultancy, .

Previously, she has held a variety of design and account-handling posts at agencies, including McCann Erickson Manchester, Swamp and An Agency called England, and worked on brands including Umbro, Sharp and Durex.

At JDAi, Cordon will work for clients including Parador Properties, British Energy, Barnardo's, The Car Shop Megastore, UK Underwriting, CPP and Menzies Hotels.

Mike Ashton, JDA's managing director, said: "Following our recent merger with the newly-formed The Direct Marketing Group, it is important that we continue to bring new talent into the agency. I am certain that adding Lyz's ideas and experience to the skills of the existing team will increase our online offering and catapult the interactive department into a whole new era."
