Jamie Oliver partners with Match.com to create food-lovers dating website

LONDON - Dating website Match.com has teamed up with Jamie Oliver to launch a service hosted on the chef's website that helps food lovers find a partner.

From today, users can visit and tap into match.com's 6.5 million members to find a companion.

It is free to register on the site and new members will be able to access match.com's top tips on how to write the perfect profile, as well as use the advanced search functionality to help in their quest for love.

Oliver said: "I've always found food to be a really powerful way of bringing people together and I thought it would be great if we could get people who loved food, to love each other.

The site will also feature romantic recipe ideas from Oliver, and will offer new sign-ups a chance to win a meal for two at Jamie's Italian Kitchen.

Karl Gregory, marketing director at Match.com, said: "Research has shown us that 45% of our members want a partner who is a good cook."
