ITV1 has looked to cash in on Holden's appeal by moving her into her own one-hour slot at 9pm on Tuesdays.
'Amanda Holden's Fantasy Lives', features her trying out "dream" jobs, such as being a Parisian showgirl.
It managed 2.5 million viewers, a disappointing 10% share of the audience.
'Celebrity Big Brother', the reality show boasting luminaries such as Vinnie Jones and Dane Bowers, claimed 3.3 million viewers and a 14.9% share, though the figures include the contribution of its C4+1 showing.
'Survivors', BBC's action drama staring Max Beesley, pulled in 3.6 million viewers and 14.6% of the audience share, winning out against the commercial channels.
ITV1 was also eclipsed by BBC Two's scientific show, 'How Earth Made Us', which pulled in 3.1 million viewers, while Five's long-running crime drama, 'CSI', recorded an audience of 2.4 million.
