Iris opened in New York last month, a move prompted by client Manchester United, which plans to expand its official loyalty scheme One United globally. Iris New York will be spearheading membership acquisition in the US on behalf of the club.
Zoltowski was a senior account director at VCCP and worked on O2, GNER and Capri-Sun. Prior to VCCP, he spent four years at Arc Marketing, formerly IMP, where he worked with Iris founding partners Ian Milner and Stewart Shanley before they left to set up the agency in 1999.
Shanley said: "We've known Stefan for a while and he knows how to replicate the culture that has made us successful here in the UK out in the US.
"He also has some really relevant expertise in sectors such as sports marketing, telecoms and retail, which will significantly improve Iris's ability to offer North American support for some of its key global clients."
Iris London helped Man Utd relaunch the One United membership scheme in the UK last year and the agency is currently working on delivering a locally relevant version of One United in the North American market, which will include the US, Canada and Mexico. Future plans are believed to include the Far East and Australia.
Iris claims to be one of the fastest-growing agencies in Europe with a turnover of 拢15m. It also has offices in London and Manchester.
