Iris North adds new recruits to up Northern offering

LONDON - Integrated agency Iris North has hired the former new-business director of McCann Erickson, Lindsay Wall, as managing partner as it expands its Northern offering to clients.

Wall, who joins Iris North in May, moves from a business development director role at Seven Worldwide, the media and asset management company. He joined Seven from McCanns where he reported to Ben Langdon. Prior to McCanns he held senior positions at Arc and Lowe Lintas.

Iris North has also hired Adrian Nicholson as account director. Nicholson is another former McCann Erickson staffer who has also worked at GGT/TBWA and more recently at BDH/TBWA Manchester where he ran the Nissan Sales account and was responsible for Nissan Network communication channels.

Tim Gardiner, managing director of Iris North, said: "Both Lindsay and Adrian are great acquisitions for the agency. They share our ambitions, have fantastic experience and understand what's required because clients, particularly around retail, need more responsive marketing."

Gardiner was hired to launch the Manchester operation last year. He is a former John David Group marketing director.

Headquartered in London, Iris was voted MCCA agency of the year last month and offers direct marketing, sales promotions, advertising and point-of-sale services.
