The move to launch in the US follows Iris's work on the loyalty scheme in the UK, which it relaunched last year.
On the back of the move to take One United to the US, Iris plans to open an office in New York later this month.
Iris New York will be headed by Manchester United global account director David Morley. A managing director for the New York office, which will also handle work with other Iris clients including Puma, Shell and Disney, will be appointed within weeks.
One of Morley's priorities is to develop One United so it is relevant to the North American market, including the US, Canada and Mexico. The club is also planning to extend the loyalty scheme to the Far East and Australia.
Iris managing director Ian Millner said: "Brand influencers and trends are stronger and sharper in New York. Trends spread faster there and our trend spotters will be able to assess their value and potential at their inception and use them to the advantage of the brands we work with."
