Haygarth hosts hair-raising record attempt with Gillette

Experiential agency Haygarth Live will attempt to break a Guinness World Record on Saturday (23 November) with Gillette as part of the razor brand's Movember campaign.

The record attempt for the largest shaving lesson will take place at 1pm in The Arena, at Westfield Stratford shopping centre. The event has been developed by Haygarth and will be hosted by Gillette and retailer Superdrug.

More than 350 members of the public are expected to have their facial hair styled during the event.

Marcus Sandwith, managing director at Haygarth, said: "As the lead digital, social and experiential agency for Gillette, we’ve been heavily involved with their Movember campaign for the past two years, launching their pop-up barber shop in 2012. 

"The Guinness World Record attempt is bigger and better than any event we’ve organised for them before and will help to raise awareness of a worthy charitable cause."

As part of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to win a lifetime supply of Gillette products in Superdrug stores nationwide.
